from Guy Debord

To the Sisyphus group[1]
17 January 1967
Dear Comrades:

We take action on your letter of the 12th [of January 1967] to the editorial committee of Le Monde Libertaire.[2]

With much pleasure, we see that revolutionary anarchy is alive and we hope that we will have the occasion to meet you soon.

Fraternally,
For the SI,
Guy Debord, Mustapha Khayati, Donald Nicholson-Smith, Rene Vienet

(Written on the letterhead of the journal Internationale Situationniste.)

[1] The anarchist group Sisyphus, to which future situationists Rene Riesel and Christian Sebastiani belonged.

[2] In protest against the fact that the letter from the SI to Le Monde Libertaire was censored. [Translator: see letter dated 3 January 1967.] An identical fate being reserved for it, the Sisyphus group decided to quit the F.A. [Anarchist Federation] on 13 February 1967.
