Sir:

The contorted dialectics[1] contained in the letter[2] that one of your advertising visionaries [3] made you sign can never change your only and unique reality, which is that of a merchant. I only certify that your publishing house attributes to me or denies to me the editing of The Poverty [of Student Life] depending on which one of my ex-comrades you believe. It is probably this comfortable position that today authorizes you to proudly identify yourself with the cadaver of a certain movement.

For the rest, it is unhealthy to talk theory with a soup merchant, and absurd to explain oneself with a signature.
